Dr Caroline Hoetzer is a female Veterinarian.
Caroline is passionate about promoting the health and wellbeing of our animal companions through raw and natural feeding and a healthy lifestyle. A natural feeder all her life, she is committed to educating people about how to provide a species-appropriate diet for their companion animals in a sustainable, affordable way.
Caroline has completed further studies in veterinary acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine. Caroline has an interest in musculoskeletal issues and enjoys helping elderly patients become mobile again. Caroline employs manual therapies of acupuncture, moxibustion and multiradiance laser therapy to improve blood flow and mobility for animals suffering from arthritis, musculoskeletal issues, lameness and pain. Caroline is also undertaking a qualification in Animal Biomechanical Medicine, to further her skills in rehabilitation and spinal adjustments.
Caroline is a committed animal advocate, seeking to improve the welfare of animals as a committee member of a veterinary advocacy group, Sentient (the veterinary voice in animal welfare). Caroline is involved with a variety of animal rescue organisations, such as Greyhound Rescue NSW, Friends of the Hound, and RSPCA NSW. Caroline has a special fondness for greyhounds and has lots of experience dealing with the peculiarities of this gentle breed.
