Dr Jana Walsh

BSc, BVMS (Murdoch), Veterinarian

Dr Jana Walsh is a female Veterinarian.

Dr Jana graduated from Murdoch University Perth, in 1992. Member of the Australian Veterinary Association. Member of the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association. Founder of Curtin Vet Clinic – September 2014.

Dr Jana has felt an affinity with pets all her life and a dream came true when she was accepted into the veterinary degree in 1988. Upon graduating, she gained her first work placement in a small rural community in WA, where she saw an extremely varied and interesting case load. Here she developed a passion for surgery, inspired by her boss, who was an experienced orthopaedic veterinary surgeon and was very eager to share his knowledge. Over the years Dr Jana has regularly attended courses, seminars and practical workshops to keep up to date with the very fast changing area of veterinary science. During that time she has developed a specific interest in orthopaedics, oncology, endocrinology, feline and canine medicine and animal behaviour.

She is a great believer in giving owners all options of treating a particular case and being there to give support and help make their decisions easier. It is her mission to give the best possible veterinary service to her clients, to gain their trust, to respect their needs and feelings and to do the best possible for their pets.
