Dr Jonathan Crawford is a male Veterinarian.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2009 and joined Lort Smith in 2016. His area of interest is surgery, in particular large tumour removal and skin reconstruction, emergency surgery and orthopaedics. Jonathan completed a surgical internship at a surgical specialist centre prior to joining Lort Smith and became a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists by examination in Small Animal Surgery in 2016. He says the best thing about Lort Smith is working with a committed team of people and dealing with a large, complex caseload, offering a very high standard of care. Performing his first Patent Ductus Arteriosus surgery with Dr Tracy on one of the shelter puppies was a particularly memorable experience – ligating an extra vessel at the base of the heart, to prevent the pup from developing congestive heart failure.
