Dr Josette Fretton is a female Veterinarian.
Josette graduated from Murdoch University in 2018 with a BSc/DVM with Distinction. She has a strong interest in all aspects of equine surgery and medicine after attending a variety of placements at equine veterinary clinics across Australia prior to starting working at West Coast Vets. Since starting at West Coast, she is enjoying working in both the small animal and equine sides of the practice, however is aiming to undertake further qualifications in equine practice in the future.
Originally from Albany on the south coast of WA, Josette has been involved in the equestrian community throughout Western Australia, as competitor in eventing and dressage, a volunteer in various clubs and events, and working in the Thoroughbred and Standardbred breeding industries. Outside of work, she spends her time on camping expeditions with her fiancé Michael or riding her young horse Oaky, with aims to start competing in eventing again soon.
