Dr Katie Wilcox is a female Veterinarian.
Katie graduated from Liverpool University in the UK in 2007.
She completed an internship at Newmarket Equine Hospital before travelling to Australia to work for Scone Equine Hospital in 2009. Katie worked 4 stud seasons in Scone and Murrurundi, rotating back to Newmarket for the corresponding northern hemisphere seasons. In 2013 Katie moved to Southern Highlands Equine Centre where she worked for 2 years before joining the team at Avenel Equine Hospital in May 2015. Katie became a Director in 2018.
Katie enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary practice, with a particular interest in reproduction and foal medicine. As well as servicing stud clients Katie assists with the smooth running of the hospital and manages an ever growing team of vets, nurses and support staff. She is also an accomplished diagnostician and performs a large amount of the yearling sales radiography for the practice. Katie holds post graduate certificates in advanced veterinary practice and veterinary business management.
