Dr Paul Davey is a male Veterinarian.
Dr Davey bought Grantham Street Veterinary Clinic in partnership with Dr Cameron Murray, in 2003. From the outset, Cameron and Paul's ambition was to create a friendly, caring environment to treat pets, and educate owners to ensure their pets lead as healthy, happy lives' as possible. After 18 years of hands-on veterinary work, Paul now oversees the management and administration of the clinic which has grown considerably since the most humble of beginnings where he and nurse Karen were the only staff. Paul has also been involved in many broader activities in the Veterinary Profession over the years. He is a past President of the WA branch of the Australian Veterinary Association and is still an active member of the association. In addition, he has contributed extensively to ongoing Veterinary training with involvement in Murdoch University Veterinary School, and was a board member of the Murdoch University Veterinary Trust. Dr Davey was heavily invested in championing the Graduate Support Scheme for assisting new graduates when starting their Veterinary Career, and has mentored dozens of new graduates across Australia. Dr Davey's commitment to these causes, along with his dedication to the Veterinary Profession, saw him awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2013. Paul was elected onto the Veterinary Practice Board in 2021 and has contributed to the transition across to the new Veterinary Practice Act of 2021. In 2022 Paul became an inaugural Director of the Veterinary and Community Care charitable organisation who are dedicated to helping people experiencing vulnerability access high quality veterinary care for their pets.
