BVSc (Syd), MS, MANZCVS, DACVIM (LAIM), Veterinarian

Dr Rosemary Cuming is a female Veterinarian.

Rosemary graduated from the University of Sydney in the year of 2008.

Following graduation she worked in rural mixed practice in NSW prior to joining Scone Equine Hospital as the 2010 Emergency Medicine and Critical Care intern. She loved the foals and the team so much that she stayed on for a second breeding season at Clovelly before heading back to the field for 18 months as a mixed animal, equine and small animal locum rotating between practices in Taree, Denman, Scone and Sydney. Rosemary moved to the United States in 2013 to undertake a combined residency program in Large Animal Internal Medicine (Equine focus) and Masters degree in biomedical sciences at Auburn University.

She gained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Science in the field of Equine Medicine in 2012 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Large Animal Internal Medicine) in 2016. She became an official FEI veterinarian in 2012 and enjoys travelling to events and meeting a fascinating range of vets, stewards and Eventers in this role. Rosemary returned to Australia in 2016 and headed first north to work in private performance horse practice in Queensland and then west for a year as an Equine Registrar at Murdoch University in Perth. She has returned to SEH to join the Medicine team at Clovelly for the 2018 breeding season.
